Today I woke up cold to a lucid anxiety dream. Running around like a chicken without a head trying to counter an endless unraveling of everything. I got up and shut the window. It continued when I went back to sleep but I don't recall the details. The rest of the day was pretty nice. I bought a new bike, hung out with an old friend unexpectedly and enjoyed the afternoon. forgot to vote but didn't care. didn't think twice (only once) about the things on my mind of late. plenty of time for that...

So, I am watching that 70s Show because I started to TiVo it. I use to watch it all the time. I watched one I had recorded a while ago last night and now I am watching tonight's episodes and I come to find out that Lori, erik's ho-bag siter, has been replaced by a new actress. Even thought she wasn't one of the main gang she should be now that she married Fez (so he could get a green card). This makes me want to stop watching it even though I enjoy the other characters. It was a good dynamic. Also, that had to be that actress' decision (unless she was some kinda unruly coke whore and she got the axe) which makes me mad at her. This is the typa thing that pisses me off.

which sucks. It's not that severe but annoying me anyway. Yesterday I didn't want to go to work but I knew there was something that had to be done so I went in and wound up only leaving an hour early. I should go in tomorrow to try to get some more shit done because even if I wasn't sick I would still barley be treading water because things are that busy. We have way to many things going on and not enough people or space.
On the home front, this Wed nite The Southland are playing at the Key Club (but it's also trixiefirecat's sista's bday) . I am planning to leave work early to go regardless of whether J wants me to shoot it. I wound up shooting the last show at the Viper room and it was awesome. the show was great, the photos came out great, everyone was happy.
So that puts more pressure on my work week because I will need to make up those hours on a weekend. And since A is gonna come done to hang with me and trixiefirecat on the 15th (because she's moving to tahoe) that means I should go to work tomorrow.
In other news, my bestest friend P is coming home for a visit from Portland in about a month so that's good news.
This post is as boring as my cold. I wonder if SNL is a re run tonight...
Time to eat a cookie.

The Southland is playing at the Viper room! It's going to be a big deal for the band & my friend who manages/produces them. It will be the first time I get to see them LIVE because all their previous shows have conflicted with my work schedule, etc. It looks like I will be going with CPW my ol (grad) skool homie who I had dinner with tonight. That reminds me that I want to look at my notes from when we talked about writing that screenplay... HAha...

I met muthafuckin FLAVOR FLAV tonight at my regular tuesday night hip hop spot, GOLDFINGER'S! You never seen a bunch a hard muthafuckas (yeah, including me!!! hahaha) all act like they was 16 be4. We took a picture together and I shot in movie mode on my camera while he was puttin on the OG hype show for homie's video camera... hyping homie up who he came to see (who also DJed the new years party I was at this year...) not my normal Gfinger's dj homies but a cat who performs there regularly called BUCCWEET....) anyways it was ill. I don't normally jock but we were all like SHIT THAT'S MUTHAFUCKIN FLAVOR FLAV! He may be a crack head but he's OG in the realest way and he was cool - exactly what you'd expect. The only thing that sucked was that Gift Shop didin't perform tonight (good thing fudge decided to roll out anywayz!!) so they weren't all there........................................................

I don't feel like using complete sentances but I did semi-promise myself I would try to start posting again. Though I am not sure why. I guess i wanna be one of the cool kids.
Things I got for Xmas:

A candle (from Trixie's Mom)
A Piglet from Uncle Jer's (from my stepsista)
A Transversion makeup bag or handleless purse (from stepmom)
A $100 gift certificate to the Spa (stepmom again)
TIVO!!!!!!!!!! (from Dad)
And last but not least, the IT guy at my work heard me going on and on about this cool toy (Atari 10 in 1 plug & play video game) I bought for Trixie & her man and he went out and bought me the NAMCO one!!! Is that not the sweetest fucking thing ever?!?!? Let's see if I can remember the damn html tags...
How sad, I had to look up the tags. Anyway, maybe later I will be able to locate my Transversion bag (or at least the pattern) on the web.
Feeling guilty... better work for a while if I want to get any time in on JUMPMAN.
